The Bradford White ICON System® uses intelligent gas control with spark-to-pilot ignition, eliminating the need for a constantly burning pilot light, which saves gas during standby periods (120 VAC).
Powerful Blower
Motor
The AquaVENT MAX™ blower motor from Fasco™, exclusive to Bradford White, is the quietest in the industry, with a lower profile and a stronger electrical connection than previous models.
Horizontal and Vertical Venting
This system is designed for installations where atmospheric units can’t be used, venting exhaust gases under positive pressure directly out of the building through the roof or wall using ULC S636 approved PVC/CPVC or Polypropylene
Hydrojet® Total Performance System
The Hydrojet® Total Performance System is a sediment-reducing device that boosts the first hour rating of hot water and helps prevent temperature build-up in the tank.
Vitraglas® Tank With Microban® Lining
The Vitraglas® Lining with Microban® is a specially engineered enamel that protects the tank from corrosion, while Microban® antimicrobial protection helps prevent the growth of bacteria, mold, and mildew on the surface of the tank lining.
Non-CFC Foam
Insulation
The insulation system uses non-CFC foam on the sides and top of the tank to reduce heat loss, leading to lower energy consumption, improved efficiency, and increased jacket rigidity.
Water Connections - ¾" NPT
The water connections feature 3/4″ (19mm) NPT factory-installed true dielectric fittings to extend the water heater’s life and simplify water line connections, with additional 3/4″ (19mm) NPT side connections on select models (RG2PV50H6N, RG1PV55H6N, and RG2PV75H6N).
Protective Anode
Rod
The Protective Anode Rod helps prevent tank corrosion by attracting damaging elements in the water, extending the life of your water heater. The RG1PV55H6N model is equipped with two anode rods, offering extra protection and ensuring long-lasting performance, even in challenging water conditions.
T&P Relief
Valve
The T&P (Temperature and Pressure) Relief Valve is pre-installed for safety, automatically releasing excess temperature or pressure to prevent damage to the water heater, ensuring safe and reliable operation.
